Shipping Within Australia

We send orders through Australia Post with tracking. Each item is securely packaged to protect it during transit.

Shipping charges include postage and a packaging allowance covering presentation packaging and protective mailing materials.

How Shipping Is Calculated

We weigh the item together with its box and packaging to determine the total packed weight. Shipping costs depend on the packed weight, outer parcel dimensions, delivery destination and the shipping arrangements available on the website or marketplace where you purchase.

The shipping charge shown at checkout applies to your order. Charges may differ between our Shopify store, Etsy, eBay and other sales channels.

Etsy Orders

Our Etsy listings use flat-rate postage rather than an individually calculated Australia Post rate for each destination. The applicable charge is shown on the listing and at checkout and includes a packaging allowance.

Large and Extra-Large Items

Large or unusually shaped hats may require a shipping quotation. Where a listing states “Price on Application,” please email info@batemanoriginaldesigns.com.au before purchasing so we can confirm the shipping cost to your destination.

Packing and Dispatch

We photograph each item before dispatch as a record of its condition. Once your order has been dispatched, tracking details will be provided through the website or marketplace where you purchased.

Australia Post delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary, particularly during busy periods.
