A dramatic black wide-brim statement hat, individually designed and hand-finished by Bateman Original Designs.
The strong, clean silhouette of the black woven straw is contrasted with a sculptural metallic trim that wraps around the crown and rises into a striking hand-shaped feature at the side. The trim has been carefully wired, shaped and finished by hand, giving the design structure while keeping the overall look light and elegant.
Vintage stones have been incorporated into the trim, adding flashes of sparkle and bringing a sense of depth and character to the piece. These older embellishments give Glitz & Straw a finish that cannot be recreated with modern mass-produced decoration, helping make the hat completely individual.
